Black Diamond Western #36

Black Diamond pursues the outlaw Squinch through the Western landscape, but Squinch manages to escape by using a rope to pull Black Diamond off a cliff, resulting in an ironic death when the weight of gold he had stolen pulls him off the cliff edge and kills him. In a separate storyline, renegades follow Black Diamond's orders to intercept gold wagons, but Black Diamond outwits them and rescues the gold, while a character named Lefty reports back to Santa Fe Sam that the operation failed and Black Diamond's men were killed.
