This issue contains two stories. In "Rogue Indian," Black Diamond encounters a giant native warrior in the Valley of the Hidden Moon who has been terrorizing the peace-loving Shoshone Indians, and Black Diamond must defeat this extraordinary threat. In "Vengeance," set in Dodge City, Kansas, a man with a scarred face seeks revenge against Judge Crooke, the corrupt lawman who has stolen his name and identity, taken over the town through force and election fraud, and imprisoned innocents—the scarred man confronts the judge in a final reckoning despite warnings to stay away.
