Black Fury #29

Black Fury, a blue horse, confronts Apache raiders at Furnace Creek after they have kidnapped a young boy. The Apaches attempt to make Black Fury part of their pack, but when the horse refuses and tries to help the boy escape, a fierce battle ensues between Black Fury and the Apache warriors. An additional sequence depicts Black Fury's natural rivalry with a young wild stallion and wolf, illustrating the complex relationships formed among wild animals in nature.
