Black Fury #38

Black Fury, a stallion, saves a woman's life by thundering toward enemies and nipping her sharply, forcing her out of danger. After rescuing the woman from peril, Black Fury's owner expresses pride in the horse's heroic actions. The story concludes with Black Fury and his owner departing peacefully to the barren hills, where there is no sustenance, as the grateful woman thanks them for their able and faithful assistance.
