This anthology issue features two main stories. "Blue Bolt" follows Dick Cole and Edison Bell as they pursue criminals who have stolen cash from de Ronde, tracking the perpetrators through a hall of mirrors where the crooks attempt to escape by using reflective surfaces to confuse their pursuers. "Sergeant Spook" depicts Terry and a police sergeant moving into a kitchen where Terry discovers the sergeant can cook up a mysterious dish, but when Terry spots Mrs. Maloney's children playing dangerously with matches on their front steps, he intervenes to prevent them from getting burned. The issue also includes Edison Bell's baseball game—a do-it-yourself game that readers can construct from wood and hardware.
