Blue Bolt #6

This anthology issue features two main stories. "Dick Cole and Edison Bell" follows carrier pilot Dickinson, who makes a poor landing and receives a promotion to second in command of his squadron, which then engages in combat against a Japanese fleet west of Midway. "Fearless Fliers" depicts young adventurers searching a hermit's island for buried treasure, only to discover pirates also seeking the same riches. The issue concludes with a war story showing marines and sea bees landing under machine gun fire in combat against enemy forces.
