This anthology contains multiple stories featuring different characters. "Dick Cole" and "Rick Richards" stories involve action and adventure plots, with one sequence showing characters escaping from a mansion after being trapped by a burglar, then following a kite string back to safety. A "Dink" story depicts young boys discussing putting on a magic show to raise money for new sweaters, with Dink finding a magic book and attempting to perform tricks. Another story shows action aboard a ship where criminals plot to stow gold in the hold and dispose of a boy, but heroes intervene with a perfumed distraction to foil the villains' plans.
