This issue is an anthology featuring two stories. In "Six-Gun Menace," Bob Steele pursues an outlaw named Devlin into Native American territory, discovering that Devlin has been spreading lies about stealing horses to create conflict. Steele must track down Devlin and his men while navigating the dangerous situation he has created. In "Doc Sorebone's Lead Poisoning," a doctor treats a young boy who has swallowed a fountain pen and must manage the boy's anxious mother, while simultaneously becoming involved in a mayoral election scheme where a politician named Mr. Rudd spreads lies to manipulate voters and gain power.
