Bob Swift, Boy Sportsman #1

Bob Swift, a young sportsman, joins his father on a hunting and fishing trip in the Canadian wilderness. When they spot a large ram, Bob and his companion Joe climb a ridge to pursue it, but later return to camp disappointed. The next day, Bob's father arranges for them to fish at Deer River with expert guides Doc Baker and Pete Stone, where Bob engages in an intense struggle with a large king salmon that tests his angling skills.
