Boots and Saddles Comics #1 The inaugural issue introduces "The Masked Marshal," a mysterious masked hero who emerges from an inferno to become a legendary figure of the West, identified by a red and white feather as his calling card. After two men are badly burned in a fire, one of them adopts the Masked Marshal identity and symbol to fight for justice. The story follows the Masked Marshal as he confronts criminals and outlaws, ultimately leading to a confrontation with a sheriff where the marshal must evade arrest for his vigilante activities.
