Boy Meets Girl #14

A young woman named Laura meets Bob at a dance and they begin dating, though their early conversations prove awkward and difficult. When Bob takes Laura to the circus the following night, he becomes jealous and leaves her there, hurt by her easy affection toward him and worried she doesn't take their relationship seriously. Laura later encounters a soldier named Sid at the train station, and after he helps her with her luggage, she becomes emotionally involved with him while remaining uncertain about her feelings for Bill. The story concludes with Laura realizing that being in love can cloud one's judgment and lead to poor decisions about how to treat those who care about you.
