Broadway-Hollywood Blackouts #1

This anthology comic contains three separate comedic stories centered on romantic mishaps. The first story features a carnival barker selling "kisses" who agrees to provide them on credit to a woman demanding them on her terms. The second story depicts an elaborate scheme in which two men plan to fake being shot so one can win over a woman, only to have the plot backfire when the woman arrives unexpectedly and catches them in compromising positions. The third story, titled "The Love Seat," follows a husband's departure and return, during which his wife entertains a suitor on a special cushioned chair, leading to a comedic misunderstanding when the husband unexpectedly comes back and finds another man present.
