Broadway Romances #1

This anthology issue contains at least two romantic stories set against Broadway backgrounds. The first story follows a woman named Darla who falls in love with Jimmy, a man she meets while he's working in theater, but their relationship is complicated by Jimmy's past romantic entanglements and his eventual departure for war service; ultimately they reconcile and find happiness together. A second story features a young woman's encounter with Ted Lane, a famous radio and television personality, whom she initially mistakes for someone else but eventually pursues romantically across New York City, leading to a series of romantic misadventures and reconciliations.
