Buster Bear and a police officer investigate a mystery involving a squad car robbery, discovering clues that lead them to a pirate named Rufus Rabbit. As they pursue the culprit, Rufus flees on a ship where he encounters other pirates and attempts to escape with his stolen loot. After a series of chaotic chases and confrontations, Buster and his companion catch up with Rufus, resulting in a final clash where Buster inadvertently ruins Rufus's new suit while recovering their profits, leaving Rufus and his companions stranded and defeated.
