Calling All Boys #10 (March 1947) This issue is an anthology containing multiple stories. One story follows Andy competing in a dangerous downhill ski race on a mountain trail called Suicide Run, where his rival Monk Evans attempts to sabotage him by placing a dummy on the path. Another narrative features Jeff, who encounters a Hawaiian king and learns about the historical connection between two sailing ships—the *Eleona* and the *Fair American*—and their captains' relationship, ultimately deciding to return to New York with a crew of Sandwich Islanders. A third story depicts a boy named Billy who must pilot a damaged seaplane to save a flooded town by releasing pressure from an overflowing dam valve, successfully completing the emergency mission.
