An anthology issue featuring a story about Pete, a young newspaper reporter for the *Argus*, who rushes to the airport to meet his older brother Jim, a master sergeant returning home from the Army of Occupation, only to discover Jim's plane has crashed and must be rescued in a dramatic aerial sequence. The issue also includes comic stories about boys visiting a carnival and sideshow, encountering various acts including "Jo-Jo the Dog-Face Boy" and an Indian rubber man, with one character discovering the sideshow attractions use tricks and magnets to create their illusions.
