Captain 3D #1

A mysterious alien being recounts how his race was destroyed by atomic bombs dropped during humanity's wars, after which survivors hid in caves. He was chosen as the last survivor and imprisoned in a book, which he entrusts to primitive men for safekeeping from the "Cat People." Captain 3D and his team, including Tigra and Skweel, discover the book and create special 3D glasses charged with the same life-force contained within it, allowing them to see the alien's form. Captain 3D must return the book to prevent his own death, leading to a tense confrontation where dangerous men are set loose to interfere with his mission.
