Captain Easy #11

Captain Easy becomes involved in an espionage plot set in India when a woman named Li-La seeks his help to rescue her father, who is being held by the Japanese with a promise to carry out their orders. Easy agrees to assist, and Colonel Hardy provides him with twelve hours to complete the mission, enlisting Li-La as a guide. The story follows Easy as he travels along the opium trail toward Bhadphal, encountering drums and jungle dangers along the way. In a separate storyline, Easy deals with complications involving a lumber camp inheritance and attempts to resolve disputes among the camp's workers and management.
