Captain Midnight #21

Captain Midnight confronts Japanese agents in a swamp who possess braille photographs and film of a poison gas formula. After a tense battle involving a special gag that incapacitates his senses, Captain Midnight pursues the agents across the Pacific to prevent them from delivering the dangerous weapon to Japan. The story concludes with Captain Midnight and his allies debating whether to stop the Japanese operatives or allow them to proceed, ultimately deciding to pursue them for the sake of peace.
