Captain Midnight #22

Captain Midnight confronts a sabotage plot during a marine invasion when soldiers discover that enemy agents have been collecting paper to add weight to their uniforms, rendering them waterlogged and useless in combat. Captain Midnight intervenes to stop Japanese bombers from destroying equipment on the beaches and pursues the saboteurs, including a man named Racer and a woman named Joyce, ultimately defeating them and exposing their scheme involving Bavarian pigeon falcons being used as Nazi saboteurs.
