Captain Midnight #37

Captain Midnight battles a criminal gang led by Eaglebeak Jukes after they steal a plane containing stolen loot; he pursues them through the trees using a gliderchute, defeats the gang, and recovers the plane. Later, Captain Midnight meets with Captain Albright to learn about mysterious "Flame Planes" propelled by flame combustion rockets that pose a threat, and he volunteers to help stop them. The issue also includes "Adventures of R.C. and Quickie: Flaming Flickers," a backup story in which R.C. and Quickie help extinguish a theater fire and are rewarded with Royal Crown Cola.
