Captain Midnight #38

Captain Midnight battles the villains Ivan Shark and Gardo, who are enslaving natives in Africa to work a diamond mine in the hinterlands. After timing an attack so that bullets fired by Gardo pass over him, Captain Midnight uses his resourceful tool chest to save his dying companion Rusty. The issue concludes with Captain Midnight and his allies defeating the villains and rescuing the enslaved villagers, followed by a feature on Army Aircorps slang and a reader invention page.
