Captain Midnight faces the case of "The Rolling Stone," wherein he must deliver a secret new invention to the Army before enemies can intercept it. Captain Albright assigns Midnight the task while revealing he has his own job for the evening, and Icky is unable to accompany him on the mission. Sheik Ben Abou arrives at his home grounds with his right-hand man Ali Blaba to confer with a great inventor, but when the inventor fails to arrive at the oasis, Ali Blaba grows suspicious and vows to find and kill him, declaring that the Sheik will never again trust another adviser besides himself. Meanwhile, Midnight must navigate the desert to safely deliver the invention while contending with the Sheik's forces.
