Captain Midnight #58

Captain Midnight faces off against a villainous enemy who has constructed a dangerous test tunnel and stolen an invention crucial to a fictional aviation company, requiring the hero to recover it with the help of his ally Icky. In a separate adventure titled "Pilot Pete," a pilot struggles to land his plane during foggy conditions and runs out of fuel while circling an airfield, eventually making an emergency landing. Captain Midnight later confronts the "Purple Men," evil creatures who have been brought back along with historical figures like Julius Caesar and George Washington, battling them as they attempt to retrieve a molecular projector and threaten his world with their destructive plans.
