Captain Science #7

This issue contains two science fiction stories. "The Hangman's Son" follows young Jimmy Burk, a boy haunted by fear-quivering creatures that dart through his house like wounded night-birds, as he discovers his father's mysterious occupation and must face the source of his terror. "Heads of Horror!" features Captain Science (Gordon Dane) and his assistants battling a menace from the vampire world of the "Empire" planet—creatures with swirling heads that never die—using a time-viewer device, while also dealing with romantic complications involving a woman named Venus and a character named Waldo on what appears to be Mars.
