"The Lost Race" features creatures dwelling in underground pits who exist outside normal time, threatening to emerge and rule the world. Professor Henry Peyton lectures on evolution and nature's experimental process of developing species, but his theories prove disturbingly relevant when three men encounter giant, monstrous ant-like beings in a remote jungle and become hunted prey, ultimately trapped in a pit as the creatures prepare to consume them.
