Champion Comics #2 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Jungleman" follows Brad Stephen, who is equipped with a harness and mentally instructed in its use, as he ventures into an underwater kingdom where he encounters fish-man guards, a beautiful woman, and a giant cobra, ultimately falling asleep on a seaweed couch before facing "The Menace of the Sea People" in the next installment. Another story set in a jungle temple involves Henri and Louise, with Dirk and a native guide encountering a giant cobra and a Frenchman; after a shootout kills the reptile, an elephant carries the wounded Henri back to Angkor. "The Clan of MacPhattish" is a comedic story about Scottish bums—Andy, Sandy, and Jock—who dream of working but instead encounter various misadventures involving food and a want ad for a Scotch party.
