"The Evil Eye" follows a man sent by an agency to visit Professor Blurtress, where he encounters a hidden vault emitting a nauseating stench of decay. Later, while camping with his friend Brad, the man discovers a glowing gem that transforms him into a monstrous beast possessed by evil; Brad finds the artifact and becomes similarly transformed, with the possessed creature claiming to be the "Evil Eye" and boasting of its newfound freedom. When the Evil Eye is defeated and Brad is found dead, the narrator is left to recount the supernatural terror that consumed his companion at the camp.
