Climax #1

Climax is an anthology of suspense and mystery tales. "Practice Makes Perfect!" follows a timid glass-blowing apprentice who is harshly criticized by his boss for his failures; after years of dedicated practice, he finally creates a masterpiece—a beautiful Roman Empire glass urn—only to have his boss steal it and claim it as his own work before leaving for Washington. The second story, "The Artist!", depicts a con man named Jamison who creates perfect counterfeit bills and is caught by authorities; while imprisoned, he reflects on his wasted talent, realizing that true art requires brains to match the skill.
