This is an anthology issue containing at least two stories. "Double Car Crosser" follows Joe Dietz, a small-time criminal with a reputation for elaborate schemes, as he cons Howard Peterson into lending him his car by concocting an insurance fraud plot involving debts and a supposed car theft—ultimately planning to use the vehicle for his own purposes. "Penalty" depicts a notorious English criminal's sentencing to a supposedly escape-proof prison, where authorities take extraordinary precautions knowing his reputation for always managing to escape, though the story's conclusion remains unresolved in these pages.
