This anthology issue contains five pages of Li'l Abner and multiple other comic strips and features. "Broncho Bill" by Harry O'Neill depicts Bill and Hell engaged in a desperate battle against Native American warriors in mountainous terrain, during which Bill is wounded and the soldiers attempt a rescue operation, ultimately mounting their prisoners on Indian ponies to return them to camp. "Billy Make Believe" follows a young boy attacked by a swarm of bees and a bear who jumps into a pool and encounters various creatures, including a turtle that he must release. "Danny Dingle" traces the genealogy of the title character, beginning with an ancestor who served in Jerusalem and continuing through various historical periods, revealing generations of Dingles involved in notable events and occupations. The issue also includes a "How to Make It" craft feature on creating a dragon's head paper fold-up, and various other comic strips advertised on the cover.
