This anthology issue contains multiple romance stories. The second story, told via a bus journey sequence, follows a woman named Nina who dreams of attending a football game and dressing up, only to be ridiculed by her date Bill for her appearance, leading her family to fall into a chasm of golden jewels in a nightmare sequence. A third story recounts how a woman named Flo was separated from her fiancé Greg by circumstances, loses his photograph to another girl, but is eventually reunited with him at a boarding house, only to be evicted by the landlady—until Greg reveals his twin brother is engaged to the other girl, allowing for a double wedding. Another story involves a woman named Joan who becomes involved with a man named Steve; when she initially refuses to sing for a party, Steve eventually convinces her to perform, leading to romantic reconciliation despite earlier misunderstandings and "accidents."
