Contact Comics #9

The Marine Flyers, a military aviation unit, engage Japanese forces in multiple Pacific theater operations during World War II. In January, they participate in the Battle of the Java Sea, sinking six Japanese transports and damaging others while preventing an enemy beachhead. Subsequent missions see the unit's B-25 bomber destroy a Japanese destroyer and transport vessel, and conduct strikes against enemy runway positions and beach forces. Test pilot Rudd demonstrates the capabilities of the flying 75 aircraft, which performs smoothly in combat operations across various Pacific theaters.
