Cookie #15

Cookie features two main stories. "Time on His Hands" follows Jitterbuck Jones, who attempts to accomplish a yard project in one hour before meeting his gang at the Soda Jerkerie, but accidentally sets the leaves on fire, destroys the hose, drenches himself, and ruins his father's prize tomatoes, resulting in his father's angry declaration never to put off until tomorrow what you can do today. In the second story, Cookie becomes involved with a romantic mix-up when he receives a note from a girl named Angelpuss, but his mother's friend Pickles believes it's from a woman pursuing her; when Pickles confronts the supposed rival at a local store, she discovers Romeo, a man in disguise, has been playing matchmaker between Pickles and Debbie, hoping to keep them apart from other romantic interests.
