This issue contains two main stories. "The Jelly-Tot" follows Cookie's father leaving to hunt for diamonds in Africa with Jitterbuck, prompting Cookie to arrange jobs for them on a steamship; his scheme eventually leads to their employment aboard the Marian B. bound for Africa. In the second story, Cookie tries to secure a date for his cousin with a mysterious girl who turns out to be a glamorous movie star resembling Marilyn Monroe, creating chaos when she arrives at his house for a date.
