Cookie O'Toole, "the funniest kid in town," stars in multiple stories in this issue. In "Angelpuss, Athlete," Cookie's friend Angelpuss attempts to prove herself as an athletic star by competing in a basketball game for Harelip High, but her focus on winning is derailed when she worries about breaking a manicure, ultimately costing her team the game. In another story, Cookie encounters a crook at the mayor's office and chases him through town in a chaotic sequence involving police. In "Cookie Rides a Hobby," Cookie seeks a way to earn money and decides to pursue chemistry as a hobby, setting up a lab in his garage where an accidental chemical explosion causes massive destruction.
