The Cool Cat's mother helps stage an elaborate scene at the draft board where the family makes a musical entrance with Big Daddy leading and Mama providing rhythm on bongos, ultimately resulting in the Cool Cat being processed, though his parents nearly forget Big Daddy at the Officer's Club afterward. The story is a humorous take on the Cool Cat's mishaps as he attempts to complete the contest requirements.
