Cow Puncher Comics #4

This issue features Kit West in "The Devil's Scourge," a two-part adventure involving a search for buried treasure and a hidden map. Kit discovers a shovel in an attic bearing an engraved message and half of a map that leads to a fortune buried by the Spanish conquistador Don Fortunato Huerta at Fort York, leading her on a treasure hunt across the frontier. The story also includes a secondary western mystery involving murders near Millglow, where Kit helps solve the death of Joe Tighe by piecing together alibis and clues from the townspeople to identify the culprit.
