Cow Puncher Comics #5 The issue features two stories. "Kit West and the Prince of the Pioneers" involves a scheme by a man named Vladimir to impersonate a prince and manipulate Toshunto into betraying his tribe, leading Kit West and allies to work together to expose the deception and foil an ambush at Silent Creek. "Triple Cross" follows Uncle Willie as he becomes stranded in the desert without water and is discovered by Luke Lester, who tricks him into following vultures, only to discover that Luke has double-crossed him by drinking the water and leaving him to die in the scorching heat.
