Cowboy Love #28 This issue contains two stories. "Love's Last Stand" follows Wayne, a cowboy torn between his love for Edie and his loyalty to his friend Crailer, as he struggles with Crailer's jealous warnings and ultimately chooses to ride away from town rather than cause conflict. "The Hermit's Daughter" depicts Buck's emotional reunion with Nancy, a woman he had abandoned years before; when Buck unexpectedly returns to her isolated cabin, Nancy's initial anger gives way to tears of joy as they reconcile in the silence of the night.
