The issue contains at least two stories. "Saga of Golden Sand" follows Abbey, a woman whose father's payroll is stolen by outlaw Lamaunt. When deputy sheriff Cliff Quintrade pursues the criminal, Abbey helps Cliff recover the money and discovers her true feelings for him. "Showdown" centers on Nan, a girl torn between her love for outlaw Al Benton and her duty to deputy sheriff Chris, who is determined to bring Benton to justice; the story culminates in a confrontation in the town of Silver Creek.
