Crack Comics #28 Captain Triumph, part mortal and part spirit with supernatural powers, battles the Spider, a criminal mastermind, to rescue a kidnapped girl named Wendy and recover stolen documents. Tom Halliday confronts the Spider in an underworld lair, where he discovers the villain's connection to Dr. Foster and learns that Black Condor has also become entangled in the case. The issue also features a humorous story involving an artist who comes to life after being knocked unconscious and pursues a fairy tale adventure, reading through the pages of a storybook.
