"The Invaders!" tells of a mysterious object first spotted over Washington, D.C., traveling at 15,000 mph. A man named Stubby, picked up by a spacecraft, is transported to the planet Jupiter where he encounters aliens who offer him great opportunities. However, Stubby ultimately refuses their offer and escapes back to Earth. Meanwhile, on a distant planet, a group of astronauts prepare for an expedition, plagued by nightmares and fears, and ultimately select a man named Wyatt to be the first human in space based on his demonstrated courage—unaware that Stubby's warnings about alien encounters await them.
