This anthology issue contains two science fiction stories. "The Iron Brain" follows a doctor who becomes obsessed with a malfunctioning robot and attempts to harness its intelligence through a mystical mirror, ultimately betraying his patient Henry Stone in the process. "There's a New Moon Tonight!" depicts a 1957 Soviet space race scenario in which cosmonauts land on the moon and encounter alien beings intent on conquering Earth by reducing humanity's population and transplanting their own civilization to the planet.
