This anthology issue contains at least two stories. "Behind Locked Doors" involves Mr. Sinnott, a diamond merchant, who double-locks his hotel room to protect a priceless diamond necklace, but a crime occurs within the sealed room that must be solved. "The Breath of Death" follows Captain John Redmond of Homicide as he investigates the suspicious death of a man named Peter, whose uncle William Leaf believes he was murdered by a woman named Helen Dougherty, despite a doctor's report indicating death by anemia. A third story features John Cameron whose speeding red car is involved in a dramatic highway crash with another vehicle.
