This issue contains multiple crime stories. "The Leopard's Claw" follows Detective-Lieutenant Dan Ransome as he investigates a mysterious leopard-headed criminal operating in the circus. "The Hatchet is Buried" depicts two rival criminals, Rexford and Tomkins, who have feuded for years but agree to work together in federal prison, only to renew their deadly conflict when they're released. The final visible story depicts police pursuing armed criminals in a red sedan who attempt to escape capture through a series of high-speed chases and confrontations.
