An anthology issue featuring two crime stories. "Buildup to Murder" presents Captain Scott of Homicide recounting case file F-1007, in which he solved a seemingly impossible murder after twenty-two years on the force. The second story follows detectives Barry and Tex as they pursue criminals connected to Carrello's operation, stopping a traffic light en route to Sonny Maine's apartment, where they eventually engage the suspects in combat and apprehend them.
