1952-07-01 · 36 pages

This is an anthology issue containing at least three crime stories. The first story involves a criminal named Merry who devises a desperate plan to stall police by holding Mr. Chase and his wife hostage, with a parrot and elaborate scheme unfolding at a Globe establishment. "The Bank Robbers Roundez" features three criminals planning a heist at a bank and diner, discussing their scheme to drive through Central Avenue and Hudson Parkway to escape with stolen goods and use Tommy guns against police. The third story, "Tex and Barry," follows truck drivers who encounter an injured man by the roadside claiming to be hit by a car; they discover it's a setup and trap orchestrated to lure them into a criminal scheme.
