This anthology issue contains three crime stories. "The Unlucky Lawmen of Newville" depicts officers conducting a raid that goes wrong. "Obey the Law" follows Eddie, who leaves a factory job and is later killed in a car accident on a rural road after encountering someone resembling Joe Rush. "The Strange Tale of Hubert Fenton" recounts how Fenton attempted the perfect crime by framing an innocent man for murder, but a detective punched holes in his alibi, leading to Fenton's conviction and execution in the electric chair.
