Moore presents several cases including a car thief in Ohio who stole a brief case containing manuscript pages for a book titled "Wages of Honesty," a woman named Jean Williams of Delaware who called police while undressing to distract a prowler, two high school boys who terrorized a restaurant by firing water pistols at each other, Irving Bluck who robbed a store in New Mexico and was caught by a policeman, and John Webb who was arrested and charged with stealing cakes of soap and film cans from a Maryland jail. The issue also features the stories "Belson's Ghost," "When the Lights Went Out," and "Death Rides the 5:15" as indicated on the cover.
